Vietbuild 2012 features few property projects

Under the theme “Property, Interior Decor and Building Materials,” the exhibition has attracted about 2,200 booths of some 800 foreign and local companies. However, household appliances and furnishing items prevail over the number of realty products on show.
The majority of pavilions at thi year’s event focus on promotin wooden interior furnishing items, smart housing systems, electric equipments, paint products and building materials.
Regarding properties, Thu Duc Housing Development Corporation (Thuduc House) brings to the exhibition a number of land lots and apartment projects, including the already-completed TDH-Truong Tho and TDH-Phuoc Binh projects in Thu Duc and District 9.
The firm’s booth has captured attention from many visitors due to its sales promotion allowing homebuyers to pay a 40% deposit to receive their condos and to settle the remaining amount settled over a period of two years. One square meter of the firm’s apartments is priced at VND17-18 million.
Meanwhile, Phuc Khang Investment and Construction Co. markets the Sunfl ower City project covering a total area of 150 hectares in Nhon Trach City in Dong Nai Province. The firm on this occasion releases onto the market about 280 land lots with the price starting from some VND280 million with one square meter worth VND2.8 million on average.
The event is also attended by three trading floors. Tac Dat Tac Vang puts up for sale projects in the new Binh Duong City, Hung Thinh markets a project in Long An while Hoang Anh Sai Gon launches the Golden Dynasty project in Binh Tan at VND999 million a unit.
The event runs until next Monday at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in HCMC’s District 11.
