South of England property portfolio has development and conservation possibilities

The Canford Portfolio totals some 1,748 acres and includes farms, heathland and even part of the Sandbanks Peninsula foreshore that stretches across South Dorset close to Poole, Bournemouth and Wimborne.

The sale also includes a number of productive grazing paddocks which will be of interest to local farmers or those with an equestrian interest.
The areas of Site of Scientific Special Interest heathland combined with the mudflats and foreshore of Holes Bay and Lychett Bay provide a unique opportunity for those with conservation at mind or those who would like to control the landscape use from the more affluent areas of the Poole basin.
Given the nature of the assets Savills has taken the decision to lot the sale to give every opportunity to local investors, or indeed someone who might be interested in purchasing the whole as a long term investment. The sale is being directed by way of informal tender and those interested should place tenders by Wednesday 25th July 2012.
