The four-star Saigon-Ban Gioc Resort, covering a total of 31.15 hectares, will consist of two main sections, with one adjacent to Provincial Road 206 and the other facing Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
The resort will have 60 hotel rooms, 24 bungalows with 29 rooms, a 200-seat restaurant, a 200-seat meeting room, sport and entertainment facilities, spa and areas for picnicking and other outdoor activities.
Tran Hung Viet, general director of Saigontourist, said the investment cost of the resort was estimated at some VND170 billion. The resort is designed in a way that will give tourists the best view of Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
Traditional building materials such as bamboo, thatch, wood and stones will be used as well.
According to Saigontourist, the project is a joint effort between HCMC and Cao Bang Province and the outcome of a memorandum of understanding signed last April between Saigontourist Holding Company and the province.
