C.T Sphinx takes wing at champion golf course

Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley - two leading designers of the world’s best golf courses, the 200-hectare C.T Sphinx - Sphinx Golf & Residences symbolises the Intelligence – Mystery – Power– Wildness with a 36-hole golf course, and about 200 villas and facilities.
Located in the historical legacy land of 18 traditional Betel Garden Villages, on the border between Hoc Mon and Cu Chi, the $43.2 million golf course is only two kilometres from Highway No.22 - the Trans-Asia road which will connect Asia to Europe in the near future. It takes around 30 minutes by boat from Thao Dien, District 2 or 40 minutes from Bach Dang Boat Station to the golf course which stretches along Thay Cai River, connecting Saigon River with Vam Co Dong River.
Profoundly understanding the land characterised by oriental features and a mysterious value, the two western prestigious designers Schmidt and Curley have created the majestic golf course with numerous challenges for golfers.
Each hole has its own features, especially the par-3 hole 11, while the lake surrounding teeing ground offers a comfortable experience. In addition, behind is a huge bunker on the left side of the green as a bear awaiting his prey, creating a rewarding and naturally challenging golfing environment.
Furthermore, it is not challenging to achieve hole-in-one because the distance from tee box to green is 208 yards. Hole 12 is one of the longest holes of C.T Sphinx Golf Club which is 625 yards in length and strategically decorated along with bunkers at the rest of the stroke or the second wing.
With the main aim to satisfy all demands of golfers, C.T Sphinx – Sphinx Golf & Residences offers a 10,000sqm Club House which will provide restaurants along the river, a business centre for large meetings of enterprises, luxury boutique, golf shops,coffee-bar-wine lounge, gym and entertainment areas for children.
The project offers three types of villas, including 360sqm, 480sqm and 840sqm ones. The villas, designed with customers’ own taste, European-style, Mediterranean-style or Asian-style are constructed in harmony with art and beauty of nature.
Although the project developer has not officially announced the prices for 15 of the 840sqm units, but a representative from C.T Group revealed that 360sqm villas would be offered at around $388,000-$390,000 per unit.
So far the infrastructure of the project has been completed. The first 18 holes in the golf course are expected to be put into operation by the end of next year and the entire golf course is scheduled to be finished in 2014.
C.T Group is offering a range of promotions for people wishing to own a villa in the project or a membership card for the golf course.
